Tomoko Namba is the founder and a member of the board of DeNA. She served as the company’s CEO from its founding in 1999 until 2011. Prior to founding DeNA, she was a partner at McKinsey & Co and obtained an MBA at Harvard Business School in 1990.

Namba is the author of Bukakko Keiei ('Clumsy Management'), a book chronicling her path leading up to the founding of DeNA as well as through the company's challenges and success.
