The 14th Nikkei Global Management Forum

開催趣旨

Nikkei Global Management Forum (Nikkei Forum) is a special event that each year brings together a carefully chosen group of the world’s most accomplished business executives. The aim is to discuss corporate strategy, management philosophy and the latest trends in management from a truly global perspective. Since its inauguration in 1999, the Forum has come to be recognized as one of the most prestigious international conferences in Asia.

≪Main Forum≫
The theme for the main forum of the 14th Nikkei Global Management Forum is “Visionary Leadership: The Path Forward in a Changing World”.
The environment surrounding corporate management has never looked so uncertain. Prolonged crisis in the Eurozone, sluggish US growth and fears of a slowdown in emerging countries, cast dark clouds on the global economy. On top of this, proliferation of digital manufacturing has narrowed the gap between companies from developed and emerging economies, pressing for a radical rethink in business models.
In this year’s Nikkei Forum, we will discuss the path forward for corporate leaders in a fundamentally changing world where preconceived ideas for success are so easily turned on their head.

≪Special Session≫
This year, as a prelude to the main event, we will hold a special session under the theme “Global Management: The Key to Revival of Corporate Japan”.
